As the name implies, the place has a strong connection with art. Atelier means a room or studio where creativity and art are in focus, offered here by us in the form of food, drinks, atmosphere and good service. Our desire is to give our guests a good dining experience while feeling comfortable in the privacy of the environment. The first stones in the building were laid in the late 18th century. For the last thirty years, the artist Hilmi Tafa has built his life and created his work in Atelier (name was chose in his honor). His creations are found everywhere around the space. The stone walls that testify to the history of the city, create the right privacy. While eating “al fresco” under the light of summer stars, reminiscent of the beautiful Mediterranean climate and culture. Today it serves as a restaurant and small boutique hotel. It is located in the middle of the city's busiest and historical street in Shkodër. As you enter the wooden gate you will be welcomed with a beautiful garden, giving you an idea of how Albanians like spending o time while relaxing. At Atelier, the art on dishes is created by our chef, where his experience is reflected in the fusion of contemporary and Albanian cuisine, coming to your tables with different colors and aromas. Following the season, we are supplied with local ingredients and every day we offer special daily menus.
